This is either incredibly hilarious or incredibly suspicious but EA has apparently decided to make Wii U games after all.

Speaking to Polygon, CFO Blake Jorgensen stated, “You know, I think Nintendo’s business was more [an] extension of their last console. I think what the consumer will find is a lot more powerful gameplay with the new boxes that are coming out, and a lot of excitement, but it’ll remain to be seen as to the services associated with those as to how consumers decide which direction they might want to go.”

Though even if EA has decided to launch games for the Wii U, we already know that Frostbite 3-powered titles like Battlefield 4, and the upcoming Dragon Age III and Mass Effect 4, won’t be coming to the console. Also, due to disapponting sales of their predecessors, Madden NFL 25 and FIFA 14 will also be skipping the console.

Need for Speed perhaps?

Jorgensen did note however the publisher would be focusing more on PS4 and Xbox One releases, however.
