United Front Games has begun teasing their upcoming sequel to 2012’s Sleeping Dogs. Dubbed Triad Wars, the developer released a Christmas-themed screenshot from the office, with a blurry off-screen photo showing the game in question. This was teased via United Front Games’ official Twitter.

When a fan asked if this was Sleeping Dogs running on the PlayStation 4, the developer confirmed that it was indeed Triad Wars.

Sleeping Dogs released last year for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3, which was essentially the second coming of True Crime: Hong Kong. It saw players take on the role of Wei Shen, an undercover cop acting as a mole in a Chinese triad while working to combat corruption on both sides. Combat included a free flow combat system in the vein of the Batman: Arkham series, action combat maneuvers while driving, Bullet Time and much, much more.

If you haven’t check it out yet, it’s well worth a look today. What are your thoughts on the upcoming release of Triad Wars? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
