Ubisoft promised big news today, with various hints and winks promising us a new trailer and release date announcement for Watch Dogs. Now, said story trailer has leaked and confirmed it: Watch Dogs will be releasing on May 27th for both current and next gen platforms. Check out the trailer above.
Watch Dogs follows the story of Aiden Pearce, who is out to use the CtOS embedded in Chicago to take revenge for the harm inflicted on his family. He becomes a hacktivist/vigilante in the process, facing powerful foes and rival hackers alike. The game allows you full control over the city, letting you hack security cameras to spy on citizens along with triggering road-blocks and accessing background information on targets.
The game is slated to release on PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, with a Wii U release happening later. How does May 27th sound to you? Let us know below.
