Amazon Seems To Think Bethesda Will Announce A New Game At E3

For literally every game platform under the sun.

If this is a leak, it’s a very amusing one. Ahead of E3, Amazon has gone ahead and created new listings, hilariously titled ‘Bethesda E3 2014 Dummy ASIN’ for just about every active platform on the market- the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox 360, the Xbox One, the Wii (presumably Wii U, although it would be comical if the Wii got a game and the Wii U did not), the 3DS, the PlayStation Vita, and PC. Assuming Amazon is in the knowhow about these things, this might just be a mistaken early leak of a Bethesda announcement at E3.

If this is true, though, it begs the question- just what would this game be? Considering the fact that it spans all platforms, from the 3DS to PC, it can’t be a technical showcase like the new Doom (which would be severely hamstrung on the handhelds, at the very least); also, given that Fallout 4 is already ruled out from an E3 appearance, that leaves either another old id Software IP (Quake, maybe, or a Rage sequel), or a new Elder Scrolls game. Or something else entirely.

There is, of course, also the possibility that this is just an error, and Bethesda is announcing nothing, or well, nothing for all of these platforms. We’ll just have to wait a couple weeks before we know for sure.
