Resident Evil Revelations 2 First Trailer Pumps Up the Horror

Resident Evil is scary again! Hallelujah!

Capcom has released its first trailer for Resident Evil Revelations 2, the upcoming episodic survival horror game that sees Claire Redfield and Moira Burton fighting for survival.

We see some of the premise, which involves Claire being kidnapped by a crack team of operatives and thrown into a macabre holding cell somewhere. Eventually she’ll team up with Moira, Barry Burton’s daughter, and fight her way through to find out just what is going on. This also means dealing with a new breed of enemies called Afflicted, which act like zombies but present a whole different challenge altogether.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be out in early 2015 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. It will consist of four episodes released on a weekly basis for $6 each. You can pick up the full season for $25 (with some extra content) or the $40 retail disc for the full season, additional content and even more gameplay. Stay tuned for more details.
