Dragon Age Inquisition

Do you remember playing Dragon Age Origins for the first time, being about 25-30 hours deep into the main campaign wielding a two handed sword like a super hero? Smiting all that crossed your path with Mighty Blow? Surely that rings a bell. Then Dragon Age II came along and a two handed weapon was about as powerful feeling as a soggy baguette.

Well Dragon Age Inquisition may well see a return to skull rending form with some details regarding two handed combat! Bioware has given out some information regarding your players abilities, here’s what we know. Earthshaking Strike, crashing your sword into the earth tears open the terrain with a shock wave large enough to harm any enemies caught in your path of destruction.

Mighty Blow. Using the sword as a club more than anything else, this rending slash will all but cripple your foe, leaving them dazed and injured on the ground for a period of time. Whirlwind. Being the leader of your party, you should be where the fighting is thickest. But even the bravest soldiers get surrounded. Spinning your weapon in circular arcs, this is sure to clear you a path.
