Assassin's Creed Syndicate

In the most recent issue of OXM (Official Xbox Magazine), which released on June 5th, some information for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was revealed in an interview with the title’s creative director, Marc-Alexis Cote. As we’ve reported before, players will now be able to take advantage of a number of vehicles in the game world, which is set in the streets of a Victorian Era London.

Speaking about this, Cote has said, “Any carriage that the player can see, they can interact with. They can hop on top of boats and trains to manipulate them to their advantage,” Elaborating on this, he said “Vehicles are so intrinsic to the gameplay experience that they will profoundly change the way people play the game.”

Vehicle use won’t be static though, you can take control of a carriage and drive it through the streets on your own, but the player can also run across the top of moving carriages to quickly traverse busy streets that would otherwise be impassible. Cote said, “They are dynamic platforms that the player can jump on.”

Not only that, but abducted or kidnapped NPC’s can be thrown into a carriage and carried away. Players can hide in carriages too, effectively serving as “moving hiding spots.” This is certainly a big change for the series, we just have to hope that it works out well.
