Remedy Confirms that Quantum Break Will Be Skipping E3- Again

The next update will come to us at Gamescom this year.

Last year, Remedy’s highly anticipated Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break was a no show at E3, instead appearing to us at Gamescom. That will also be true this year- with the delay in the game’s release date from later this year to early next year, Remedy has now confirmed that Quantum Break will not be shown at this year’s E3. The next update to us about it will instead come to us during Gamescom, according to company chief creative officer Sam Lake.

Remedy also points out that this Fall will be its 20th anniversary, and that it is planning on celebrating that occasion- though exactly how is left to the imagination (an Alan Wake remaster, please?). They do, however, talk about inviting one fan to their studio to celebrate, so if you’re interested in that, make sure to pay attention during the video above.

Quantum Break is scheduled to launch for the Xbox One early next year. Stay tuned.
