Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Gamers who are a bit burnt out on the whole “character leveling thing” got some good news recently when Naughty Dog made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will not have character leveling as a part of the game. Play M (via Segment Next) asked the people working on the game at Gamescom whether or not the character would have some sort of leveling system that was similar to what we saw with The Last of Us. The developer made it clear that there wouldn’t be any kind of system like that for this particular title.

In fact, Naughty Dog wants to make it clear that the company is looking to stick to its roots when it comes to how to put the game together. The firm has those desires despite the fact that it has a new writer as well as some pretty interesting new features. There are certainly going to be some new tricks pulled out thanks to the fact that this will be the first time the series will be on the PS4.

Instead of making major changes to the way the game plays, Naughty Dog is far more interested in making sure this game is as photorealistic as possible. The developers recently announced that this iteration is going to have a nearly endless set of facial expressions to work with. Obviously, this is in an attempt to make the game as realistic as possible. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches in 2016 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
