The Elder Scrolls Online’s Imperial City Changes and New Features Revealed

ESO players will be seeing a ton of improvements and new content with the upcoming expansion.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is set to receive a substantial infusion of new content in the form of the Imperial City DLC. Retailing for $25/£15, it will also be included for those with an ESO Plus subscription.

ZeniMax Online Studios has revealed some of the new content that players can expect with Imperial City. This includes Treasure Vaults with VR 16 jewelry; the Tel Var Stone system; six Imperial City Districts with new quests and characters along with an PvP Public Dungeon in the Imperial Sewers and two new PvE Group Dungeons that can be played on Normal and Veteran; 23 new VR 16 item sets; new collectibles including pets and a costume; and so on.

There will also be a patch released which changes things up significantly for players. The amount of XP needed to grind towards the Veteran Rank has been reduced by 15 percent and many activities like Craglorn, VR quests and public dungeons now net increased XP. The Veteran Rank has also been increased to six and there will improvements to existing item sets, improvements to Passive abilities in different races and much more. Expect more information as the DLC nears release on August 31st for PC and September 15th for Xbox One and PS4.
