Elite: Dangerous New Trailer Highlights CQC Mode

Elite: Dangerous is getting a new PvP mode- and to anyone who is a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, the name will be something to sit up and take notice of. It’s called the CQC mode, and yes, it means exactly what it sounds like- the Close Quarters Combat mode.

Unfortunately, this is still not a hand to hand combat mode in the game. This is a space sim after all (and not an all encompassing one like Star Citizen is planning to be), so close quarters combat in this case just refers to some really intense ship on ship action in confined spaces.
