PS4 Exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn Looks Marvelous In These New Screenshots

Gorgeous.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is currently my most anticipated upcoming game (see, Atlus? This is what happens when you take too long to release your games). It looks absolutely stunning, and it looks like the rare game where the premise, the combat, the open world, and the gameplay all come together in a beautiful confluence. Essentially, Horizon is one of the few times that I have seen a game, and I have thought to myself, ‘this is next gen.’

It looks next gen, too, and if you don’t believe me, maybe this batch of new screenshots for the game will convince you. Of course, screenshots aren’t fully representative of a game, and there were multiple slowdowns in Horizon’s Paris Games Week showing that I hope are addressed by the time the game finally launches next year. It would be so unfortunate otherwise.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is set to release exclusively on the PS4 in 2016.
