While there is still a ton of excitement floating around both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15 we still don’t know everything that is going to be in these games. There is still a lot of talk, especially when it comes to Kingdom Hearts 3 about what sort of features and what kind of worlds might be included in the title. In a new video posted to YouTube by TheGamersJoint, the poster talked about the fact that Daybreak Town might be in the newest iteration  of the series.

The poster says there was a special video shown off at D23 that was supposed to be a “making of” the game. In this video, the developers included a 3D stylized version of Day Break Town. As the video points out, there doesn’t seem to be a great reason to have this particular addition in the video if Square Enix wasn’t going to include Daybreak Town in KH3. While that is largely conjecture based on one clip in a video without the company issuing an official statement, we do know more about Final Fantasy 15 straight from the horses’ mouths.

Pixel Dynamo is reporting the developers recently went through a Q&A session on one of the game’s forums and they answered a number of questions, including about new aspects of combat in the game. Yuji Kenichiro, lead game designer and combat planner, specifically laid out a new mechanic saying, “There is a gameplay mechanic where you can debilitate enemies by destroying parts of their anatomy and it plays an important role in battle. It is possible to make these kinds of attacks against specific areas on gigantic monsters by either striking them directly using the warp ability or by positioning yourself by the enemy’s vulnerable spots using parrying actions against their attacks.”

Now we’ll just have to wait and see if Daybreak Town will be in Kingdom Hearts 3 and how this new fighting mechanic looks in Final Fantasy 15 when the games finally hit the market.
