Avalanche Studios’ recently released Just Cause 3 may have its imperfections (dear lord, the loading times) but it’s still full of fun things to accomplish. Of course, given that any game that allows you so many creative ways of destruction will encourage an unhealthy level of sociopathy, keep in mind that much of the stuff on here isn’t for the faint of heart. Some of this may be too awesome for some to handle while other methods can be nothing more than guilty pleasures. Worry not though – there are plenty of fun things to discover in Just Cause 3 as well so if you’re not a fan of wanton murder, mass destruction, general anti-social behaviour, etc. you’ll still be able to keep busy. Here are our top 15 picks for awesome things you can do in Just Cause 3.

Hooking Helicopters Together

From the second Avalanche told us we could employ multiple grappling hooks to connect objects together, we knew that there was a whole lot of chaos waiting to happen. Of course, then the developer went one step ahead and showcased the results of multiple grappling hooks on helicopters. A whirling, spinning cyclone of death, resulting in tons of explosions? We can get behind that and honestly, it never gets old in Just Cause 3. You might need to do a bit of trickery to get several helicopters within the same airspace together but it’s well worth the effort. For added style points, try to hook all of these helicopters onto a car or plane and just drag them behind you. It may not be possible (at all) but you’ll have a neat little trail of explosions following you regardless.
