The Elder Scrolls 6 or Skyrim 2: Bethesda Should Get Rid of The Clunky UI Interface

The UI could be improved from something like the Pip-Boy in Fallout 4

While there isn’t any kind of confirmation that there is actually a Skyrim 2 or an Elder Scrolls 6 getting made, it’s just good common sense to expect one of those games is coming in the near future. In an era where video game companies are taking advice from fans at a rate that hasn’t been seen before and they are relying on fans to fund games, we hope Bethesda will allow for some feedback as well.

We’ve been talking a lot about what kind of additions to the game would make it that much better, no matter whether it is Skyrim 2 or Elder Scrolls 6. While Bethesda makes some very good games, there are some areas where the company could do a bit better. When last we touched on this topic, we mentioned that more detailed cutscenes would make these games much more immersive. One other way the game could be quite a bit more immersive is if the company fixed the UI and made it that much easier to get through the game pulling up the options you actually need quite a bit easier.

Even Fallout 4, which is one of the most popular Bethesda games out there, its Pip-Boy UI is one thing that has been less than loved. Even Skyrim’s interface was clunky and the player had to go through multiple steps to find what they need. It would behoove the company to find a way to make a UI that draws people in, rather than annoy them.

This article is part of our weekly series on Bethesda’s next big entry into the world of The Elder Scrolls. Through this series we take a look at the possible new features that Bethesda can add into the next The Elder Scrolls game, based on what they implemented in the previous entries and player feedback.
