The Last of Us especially helped the team find the right technology.

Uncharted 4 A Thief's End

With just a few days to go until Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches, Naughty Dog is doing a  lot of talking about how they put together a game they had to move back a couple of times. While it took a while to get to this point, the developers are now talking about the fact that the two other games (The Last of Us Remastered and Nathan Drake Collection with the help of Bluepoint Games ) they made for the PS4 helped a great deal in making Uncharted 4 quite a bit better.

Naughty Dog community strategy manager Arne Meyer recently sat down for an interview with the NZHerald and said The Last of Us especially helped lead the way for Uncharted 4 because of the technology the team used. “With each game at Naughty Dog it’s an evolution of the previous one. Everything we learned from doing that, something that was slower paced and took chances with the narrative, as well as stealth and AI, were things that entered our tool set,” he stated.

Judging by our review, it appears Naughty Dog definitely got it right. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches exclusively for the PS4 on May 10, 2016.
