Forza Horizon 3’s first major expansion is set to rain snow down under.

Microsoft revealed on Xbox Wire that, “Winter is coming and that means some less than ideal road conditions. Here is a peek at what you will be facing in the first Forza Horizon 3 expansion later this year.”

We’ve had to deal with rain, mud, dirt and various levels of water but snow is a particularly new threat to the series. This snow-themed expansion is one of two major paid DLC packs that Playground Games has in mind with the second due to release next year.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to purchase both separately – they’re not included with Forza Horizon 3’s Car Pass or Ultimate Edition.

What are your thoughts on battling snowy conditions in Forza Horizon 3 though? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on the expansion in the coming months.
