Microsoft has big plans for this year (which hopefully don’t involve cancelling other projects like it did with Platinum’s Scalebound. Yes, we’re not going to let that go). As per Phil Spencer in a new Xbox Wire post, there will be a “bigger and more differentiated” slate of first party titles for 2017 for Xbox One and Windows 10.
Along with Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3, players can expect more “in store at E3 2017.”
“We are focused on building the largest games library in Xbox console history, which means our Xbox One Backward Compatibility lineup will continue growing this year.
“With such a broad and varied roster of games and first party exclusives on the horizon, continuous improvements across Xbox Live, and the upcoming launch of Project Scorpio, 2017 is going to be an incredible year for Xbox One and Windows 10 gamers.”
What could E3 2017 possibly hold besides aforementioned announcements and Project Scorpio? We’ll find out on June 11th when Microsoft’s press briefing takes place.
