Bioware’s Mass Effect: Andromeda will be receiving patch 1.05 today at 8 AM PT. As per the game’s official Twitter, servers will be down for the same at 8 AM PT. The downtime will last for an hour with multiplayer and Strike Teams unavailable during the period.
The patch includes a number of quality of life improvements to the game including better tutorial placement, changes to multiplayer balance (which would be detailed separately), the ability to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map, fixes for collision issues, better lip-sync and facial acting for conversations, improvements for multiplayer latency, increased inventory limits and much more.
Yesterday, it was revealed that inventory limits would be upped to 100 with Andromeda Viability Points granting as much as 200 slots. There will also be less interruptions during squadmate banter.
Other improvements are slated for Mass Effect: Andromeda in the coming months including an improved character creator, improved male romance options for Scott Ryder, improvements to cinematics and animations and so on. Stay tuned for more patch notes as the day rolls on.
