Bungie was present at Gamescom 2017 as part of Nvidia’s Gamescom conference and it shared some more information on how Destiny 2 would shape up for PC. Most importantly, community manager David “DeeJ” Dague noted that the developer wanted PC players to feel like “first class citizens” since the beginning of development.

As per VG247, Dague said that, “We wanted to treat PC gamers like first class citizens since the first day of development. It’s built from the ground up to be amazing on state of the art hardware. It should feel native on the PC. This begins with uncompromising art and captivating gameplay.”

Some of the options for PC players include the previously confirmed in-game frame rate counter, up to 4K resolution visuals, an uncapped frame rate and support for ultra wide aspect ratios. Adjustable field of view, SLI for multiple GPU support and high dynamic range lighting (which will come to the PC version first as per IHS Markit’s lead game analyst Piers on Twitter) were also discussed.

In preparation for the Destiny 2 PC beta, game ready drivers will go live on August 24th and Nivida will also host a giveaway for PC codes. There will also be a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti bundle for the game. Destiny 2 releases on October 24th for PC while PS4 and Xbox One get it on September 6th.
