For years, Turn 10 and, to a a lesser but almost equally important extent, Playground Games have been working incredibly hard to turn Forza into the premium racing franchise there is. And with Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport geared more towards simulation and ultimate authenticity and Playground’s much more casual-oriented Forza Horizon both doing as well as they have been doing, both from a critical and a commercial standpoint, there’s not a lot of people left who would say that it isn’t the premium racing franchise.

With Forza Horizon having wowed us all in 2016, it’s Forza Motorsport 7’s turn this year to take the series another step forward, and it looks like Turn 10 are going to leave no stone unturned in their efforts to do that. Here, in this feature, we’re going to take a look at the fifteen most interesting pieces of information on Forza 7 that you definitely need to know about.

PLAY ANYWHERE

As Microsoft announced last E3, all their major first party games will now be on Windows 10 PCs as well as on Xbox One, thanks to their Play Anywhere initiative. Forza 7 is no different. It, too, will be playable on PCs and Xbox One, both- this actually makes it the first mainline game in the series that will be hitting the PC in full (until now, we have only had a stripped down free to play version of Forza 6, and a full fledged port of Forza Horizon 3 on Windows 10), bringing Microsoft’s genre leading racing sim series to PC players at last.
