Destiny 2 (12)

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny 2. As the salt finally begins to pile up among players, there’s a new Nightfall with new modifiers and challenges to complete.

The Nightfall is Exodus Crash and the modifiers are Prism, where your attacks that match the focused element will deal more damage while other elemental damage is reduced. Kinetic and incoming damage doesn’t change but the focused element cycles periodically.

Attrition is a modifier where health and shields recharge very slowly – enemies will sometimes drop wells of Light when killed that can restore vitality. Finally, there’s Timewarp – Anomalies where you must shoot floating Vex cubes to extend the timer.

As for the Challenges, they can be seen below:

  • Speed of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
  • Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 Deaths.
  • Faster than Lightning: As a Fireteam, defeat 9 Shanks with melee attacks before defeating Thaviks.

The Flashpoint this week is on Titan. Head over to there, complete some Public Events and reap the rewards. Bungie recently released a hotfix for the game to fix memory leaks, items going missing and more but has yet to address a glitch that causes Leviathan raid keys to go missing. Stay tuned for more updates on the same in the coming weeks.
