Blizzard Entertainment continues to expand on the world of Overwatch with its latest digital comic “Searching”. Picking up after the events of the animated short “Infiltration” which saw Sombra confronting and blackmailing Katya Volskaya, Aleksandra Zaryanova aka Zarya is tasked with hunting the hacker down. She’ll have to do so with an unlikely ally though.
The comic itself is 12 pages long and can be viewed here. Written by Andrew Robinson and Joelle Sellner with Kate Niemczyk as the artist, “Searching” is the 15th comic in the Overwatch universe thus far.
Previous issues have usually been set-ups for something – like the arrival of Doomfist, the release of Junkertown, Uprising and what have you. That being said, there are an equal number of comics that simply focus on the character’s in past events like Pharah, Torbjorn, Ana and so on.
Overwatch has seen a number of updates in the past few months but what’s coming next, especially with regards to events, is unknown. Maybe Junkenstein’s Revenge makes a return for Halloween? Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
