Sony Interactive Entertainment has done its fair share to hype God of War, SIE Santa Monica’s next big PS4 exclusive and the long-awaited sequel in the vaunted series. It indicated that God of War would be out in early 2018 but any further release date information was left pending. As PlayStation Experience 2017 closes in, it seems the United States PlayStation Store jumped the gun and accidentally confirmed when the game would be launching.
As spotted by Wario64 on Twitter, it seems that God of War will be out on March 22nd 2018. That certainly fits the profile of “early 2018” and if Detroit: Become Human is out in the Spring, say somewhere between April and May, that would be enough time between the releases for PS4 owners.
Take this with some grain of salt since Sony has yet to officially confirm the date. In fact, if you head to the listing right now, it says December 31st 2018 which is the good old placeholder date. More information will definitely be coming in the near future so stay tuned and let us know what you think.
