Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown, which went through a number of delays and one major revision, will be hosting its closed alpha in January 2018. The official Twitter for the game is accepting sign-ups now. Head over to the official website to sign up. IGN First has also released some new footage with commentary from the developer. Check it out below.
The overall premise of Hunt: Showdown takes players to the Louisiana swamps for some PvEvP gameplay. There are monsters to track down and five teams of two players each are competing to reach them. Defeat the target and you receive its bounty which other players can then hunt you for it. Dying will still allow you to progress forward though staying alive and winning a match will net you some money along with experience.
Hunt: Showdown is currently in development for PC and will be heading to Steam Early Access before its proper launch. What are your thoughts on the gameplay? Let us know below.
