Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna - The Golden Country

Monolith Soft continues its stellar support for role-playing game Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with Torna – The Golden Country. The story expansion will place the spotlight on Jin, the base game’s antagonist, and his birthplace Torna. It releases on September 14th for the Nintendo Switch and is included with the $29.99 Expansion Pass.

A new trailer for the expansion was released during Nintendo’s E3 2018 direct presentation. The story will take place 500 years before Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and focus on how Jin, a hero of Torna, would eventually turn evil. Along the way, Malos and his forces must be fought with the usual Blades and Drivers that players are used to.

Though this is the final expansion for the game, there could be more free updates coming in the future. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country can be purchased as a standalone package on September 21st. The obvious advantage to owning the Expansion Pass is receiving the expansion earlier.
