Ghost Recon Wildlands Crosses Over With Rainbow Six Siege in Special Operation 2

Ubisoft is teasing a team-up with Operators; full reveal coming on July 23rd.

Say what you will about Ghost Recon: Wildlands, whether it’s criticism for the open world or repetitive missions, but Ubisoft has been supporting it with some pretty great content since its launch. After Special Operation 1 reunited us with Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher, Special Operation 2 will go even further by crossing over with Rainbow Six: Siege. Check out “The Badge” trailer for a teaser of the crossover.

The nature of the crossover is unknown, but like the Splinter Cell mission, it will likely include special Rainbow Six: Siege-themed gear that can be earned. Players will also likely team up with Operators from the multiplayer shooter. It may not be as hyped as Michael Ironside returning to voice Sam Fisher, but we’re still excited. Look out for the full reveal on July 23rd.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ next major update will be out on July 24th. Along with Special Operation 2, it includes new PvP content for Ghost War, the ability to play solo without AI teammates, and the new Ghost Mode. Ghost Mode will up the stealth ante much more, providing players with only one primary weapon and enabling friendly fire.
