Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Rainbow Six Siege Operation Now Available

Year 2 Pass owners receive one week early access to all new content, aside from the new PvE mission.

Ghost Recon Wildlands Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands’ newest Special Operation, starring Rainbow Six Siege characters, is now live. The free update is 18 GB on consoles and UPlay while the Steam version is 6 GB. The update introduces a new PvE storyline, “Operation Archangel”, where players team up with Rainbow Operative Twitch to hunt down Caveira, another Operator who’s gone missing.

Players will head to Caimanes to find Caveira, with mission completion granting the Caveira Gloves. They allow for a special CQC technique, which will make enemies reveal their allies’ locations. Plus- it looks fairly snazzy. The real star of the update is the new Ghost Mode, which adds permadeath, one primary weapon, and friendly fire to the PvE campaign.

Ghost War brings two new PvP classes, a new map, changes to the game’s Prestige system, two new maps and much more. You also have the option to play the PvE alone without AI teammates and this can also apply to Ghost Mode if you really want a challenge. Operation Archangel is currently available for everyone, but everything else is only available for Year 2 Pass owners. Don’t worry – the rest of the content will arrive next week for everyone else.
