Could Naughty Dog's megaton be launching as early as 2019?

The Last of Us Part 2

As part of Outbreak Day celebrations, Naughty Dog and Sony have been doing some cool The Last of Us-related stuff lately, from offering significant discounts, to releasing a new piece of artwork that might be hinting at some interesting stuff. However, we may now have some potentially huge information about the The Last of Us Part 2’s final launch as well.

Sony has been uploading a few tracks from The Last of Us Part 2’s original soundtrack since yesterday on the official PlayStation Music channel, and in the video descriptions for each of these uploads, the channel mentions 2019 as the game’s release year. You can check for yourself here, or here, or here.

This is particularly interesting, because even though the game was officially announced back in 2016, Sony have kept completely quiet about when it might launch. Of course, this is by no means an official confirmation, and you shouldn’t take it as such, but 2019 does seem like a pretty likely release year for the game.

Either way, stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll keep you updated on any new info that comes our way.
