To celebrate Halloween, Nintendo has released a new outfit for Super Mario Odyssey, its critically and commercially acclaimed platformer on Switch. It sees Mario turned into a zombie, complete with an axe sticking out of his head. And yes, the axe can be used to capture/hurt enemies, because spookiness.

The Zombie Headwear and Zombie Outfit can be found in the Crazy Cap shops, retailing for 3,000 and 5,000 Coins respectively. You can only unlock them after the main story is finished, but don’t worry- they’re not “limited time” only items. Those obsessed with photography in Super Mario Odyssey can also take advantage of three new camera filters – Manga, Tile, and Kaleidoscope. You can find these in Snapshot Mode.

Though we haven’t seen any major updates like Balloon World lately, Nintendo has been supporting Super Mario Odyssey with a fair amount of free costumes. The last set of outfits allowed Mario to dress up like Hariet, the antagonistic female Broodal that players fight throughout the story. What Nintendo offers next is going to be interesting to see.
