After all the leaks about Red Dead Online, including for the Battle Royale mode “Make It Count”, the beta for the multiplayer component is finally live. The caveat is that only Ultimate Edition owners of Red Dead Redemption 2 can currently play it. Everyone else has to wait, depending on when they started playing the main game.
Despite only Ultimate Edition players being in, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still doing exceptionally well on Twitch. It’s currently the fourth most watched game with 86,726 viewers (at the time of writing). Considering the quality of the campaign and how successful Grand Theft Auto Online was for Rockstar, it wouldn’t be strange to see Red Dead Online among the top most watched games in the coming weeks.
