Ghost Recon Wildlands Special Operation 3 is Out on December 11th

A new PvE mission and new PvP maps are coming to Year 2 Pass holders first.

Ubisoft’s support for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands continues with a new Special Operation announced for December 11th. It will be available to Year 2 Pass owners first, with the general population receiving it for free one week later. Previous Special Operations have included tie-ins with Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six: Siege.

While Ubisoft has yet to reveal the plot behind this Special Operation, it will offer a new PvE mission, new PvP maps, a Photo Mode, and improvements to the Prestige Economy. New Ghost War classes are also coming to PvP. The Photo Mode, as the name implies, lets you capture images, use filters and effects, and then share them with others from the game itself.

Ghost Recon Wildlands has been receiving significant support from Ubisoft since launching in March 2017. New features include the Tier 1 system for tougher challenges, a permadeath Ghost Mode, the ability to play the game without AI squad-mates, and much more. Special Operation 4 will release in Q1 2019, though we’re obviously a ways off from knowing its contents.
