Pokemon let’s go

Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! ended up being, against all wisdom, really good games, and they saw a commiserate amount of success as a result, too. However, with the Holiday shopping season now about to enter the frenzy of its final few weeks, it seems like Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are pulling out all stops to sell you on the game—and on a Switch, if necessary.

Take this newest trailer for the game, for example. This trailer is a nostalgic, heartwarming take on the classic adventure to be the very best, showing us all three primary ingredients of a Pokemon journey: the Pokemon themselves, training those Pokemon, and then battling with them. All three are showcased here, with the game’s new catching mechanics getting a bit of spotlight too.

That, plus seeing Kanto realized in gorgeous, glorious HD should be enough to melt a lot of people’s hearts and spur them to get the game. Pokemon Let’s Go is out now, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
