Mortal Kombat 11 Progression Patch Coming Early This Week

AI difficulty tuning and free currency bundle coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC first.

NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 11 has been quite the success, becoming the biggest release in the history of publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Despite this, the fighting game saw a hefty amount of criticism regarding its progression and the difficulty of Towers of Time. After promising some updates for the same, NetherRealm have offered more information on the progression patch and free currency bundle that players will be receiving.

The progression patch will go live early this week for Xbox One, PC, and PS4, and will look to reduce the difficulty of the AI along with increasing Kurrency rewards in Towers of Time. This patch will include 500,000 Koins, 500 Hearts, 1000 Soul Fragments, and 1000 Time Krystals for free. Nintendo Switch and PC should have also recently received a patch, which tunes the character difficulty and AI health in Towers of Time. It also helps reduce the effects and frequency of the tougher modifiers.

The progression patch for Switch – which also includes the free currency bundle – doesn’t have a release date yet, so stay tuned for more details.
