Ghost Recon Breakpoint (7)

In what’s rather unsurprising news, Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will not be available on Steam. The developer confirmed to PCGamesN that the open world shooter will be an Epic Games Store exclusive for PC. You can still pick it up on Uplay, Ubisoft’s own digital platform.

Ubisoft hasn’t been shy about keeping several of its high-profile titles on the Epic Games Store. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 on PC was confirmed to be exclusive to the storefront. Anno 1800 started out on Steam and remained obtainable there till its launch date. After that, it was available exclusively on the Epic Games Store as well.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is out on October 4th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It directly follows the story of Ghost Recon Wildlands as the Ghosts travel to a mysterious island, Auroa, to combat the Wolves, led by Cole D. Walker. The title sports various new mechanics, like injuries, fatigue, and switchable classes. It even has a post-launch content plan that includes expansions and raids.
