Dauntless

After a delay, Phoenix Labs has finally confirmed the launch date for its free to play action RPG Dauntless. You can play the game on May 21st for Xbox One, PS4, and PC via the Epic Games Store. Till now, the hunting title has been in beta for PC players, that too as a standalone launcher.

Dauntless will support cross-play between PC and Xbox One, but the developer is still working on including PS4. A new Hunt Pass Season, “Hidden Blades”, will be starting with the Moon Blossom Festival. This is essentially a Battle Pass for earning cosmetic rewards and premium currency across 50 tiers.

With the game’s launch comes a number of new features and improvements. There’s the new Mastery System, with each Behemoth and weapon having its own Mastery card, and a significant rework to the campaign. An “End of Hunt” has even been added to showcase rewards, parts broken, Mastery card progress, and more.
