Square Enix’s Dragon Quest Builders 2 is almost here for Western audiences. To properly hype up its release, a new trailer has been released showcasing some story bits and the various activities that players will partake in. Check it out below (and yes, that is an earthworm in a hat, just chilling).

The sequel sees players dealing with the Children of Hargon who have outlawed all building. As a builder, you start your quest on the Isle of Awakening after a shipwreck and must unlock powerful building skills to fight back against the cult. All throughout, you’ll be creating different buildings, establishing settlements and doing some farming.

New blueprints will help further develop your settlement and various locations on the island also await. Dragon Quest Builders 2 also supports four-player multiplayer so you can play with friends. Either build cooperatively or visit their islands to see what they’ve done. The game is out on July 12th for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
