Chucklefish’s acclaimed turn-based tactics title Wargroove finally has a release date on PlayStation 4. It’s out on July 23rd, more than five months after it released for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Sadly, cross-play with other platforms will not be supported on PS4.

What you can expect is a fairly large campaign and over 12 characters with their own different abilities and units. There are also various editors for creating custom cutscenes, maps, and entire campaigns. Additional modes include Arcade Mode, which sees players battling five different enemies in a row, and Puzzle Mode, where you must win challenges in a single turn.

The good news is that PS4 players will be able to access the user-created content and maps available to all other platforms. This allows for a near-endless amount of replay value (even recreations of classic Advance Wars maps). For more information on Wargroove’s gameplay, check out GamingBolt’s official review here.
