Marvel's Avengers

Nolan North is a voice you’ve undoubtedly heard many times if you play any of the big AAA video game releases. He’s had major roles in many well-known and successful titles, such as Uncharted and The Last of Us. You’ll be hearing him again soon, when Marvel’s Avengers hit next year, as he’ll play Tony Stark- and he seems pretty excited about it.

In an interview with Gamebyte, North said that while he’s been part of a lot of productions, he was really ‘blown away’ by what Avengers is doing, saying that the transition from cinematics to gameplay is fantastic and that the visuals are stunning in general. There was a demo at the recent SDCC that footage of will be released soon, and he says to make sure you keep an eye out for that.

“It absolutely is one of the most stunning things,” North said. “You can’t tell where in-game cinematics and gameplay [separate]… it’s so seamless…

“You always worry that [a game] looks so good, and then you get the game and you’re like, ‘oh gameplay doesn’t look as good.’ [Avengers] really, visually, it’s one of the most stunning things I’ve ever seen. And obviously with The Last of Us, Uncharted, they’re amazing, but [Avengers] blew me away.”

High praise from the new voice of Tony Stark, so let’s hope those checks can get cashed. We’ll find out when Marvel’s Avengers releases May 15th, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
