Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes

Bungie’s Destiny 2 has a big expansion coming up with Shadowkeep (its launch was recently delayed to October 1st). While further details are coming later this week, players are still grinding through the Solstice of Heroes. To help out with the enormous grind, Bungie is revising one of the major requirements.

Instead of 100 minibosses defeated in the European Aerial Zone, players will only need to defeat 50. If you’ve already hit 50, then the objective will be marked as completed. Expect the requirement change to come in tomorrow with the next hotfix.

Solstice of Heroes wouldn’t normally be something to get super worked up about, even with the massive requirements. But it will be the first armour set to receive an Armor 2.0 version by the time Shadowkeep launches (with the elemental glows visible, if you bought them). So the grind continues until Shadowkeep, which will likely bring other armour that’s worth grinding for instead. Stay tuned in the meantime for more details.
