Though not exactly a new Nintendo Direct, Nintendo will have a presence at the upcoming Gamescom. The company has announced a new Indie World presentation, taking place at 6 AM PT/9 AM ET on August 19th. It will be about 20 minutes in length and talk about upcoming indie titles for the Nintendo Switch.

Expect something similar in fashion to previous Nindies presentations, though the jury’s out on what can be expected. Perhaps new gameplay of Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight: Silksong? We have had surprises like Brace Yourself Games’ Cadence of Hyrule, which saw Crypt of the NecroDancer mashed up with The Legend of Zelda so anything is possible really.

Nintendo will otherwise have a number of Switch games playable at Gamescom. Luigi’s Mansion 3, Astral Chain, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Daemon X Machina, the list goes on. Many of the above titles will also have new gameplay videos so stay tuned for that as well. Astral Chain is out on August 30th so look out for more gameplay and impressions from Gamescom on August 20th to 24th.
