With Death Stranding’s release just a month away, we’re getting new details on the game practically every day. Soon we’ll all be able to get our hands on it and find out just what all the fuss is about- but of course, people at Sony and Kojima Productions have already experienced plenty of the game they’ve made.

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida is, unsurprisingly, one of those people, and recently in an interview with Dengeki Online (via DualShockers), he talked about his impressions of the game. Yoshida, who mentioned he’s played the first 10 hours of the game, has come away impressed with what he’s experienced. According to Yoshida, even though he’s played 10 hours of the game, he feels like he’s only just begun, which falls in line with Kojima’s recent comments about the game’s length.

“In total I played around 10 hours from the beginning, but it still feels like it’s only starting,” Yoshida said. “Other people were there and would try the game simultaneously, including Director Kojima, who showed me tons of ways to use Sam’s tools I didn’t think of myself.”

Yoshida then went on to talk about the game’s story, and compared it to “a really well done Netflix original series”, before going on to reveal that he’s been told by the game’s developers that players will “definitely cry” when they reach the second half of the game.

“I’d compare the story to a really well done Netflix original series,” he said. “It feels like I reached only half of that series, and there are still many possibilities for what could happen next. Also, I heard you’ll definitely cry when reaching the second half of the game. Kojima Productions’ staff told me this, and even the debuggers at Sony told me this as well.”

Death Stranding is out for the PS4 exactly a month from now, on November 8. Check out its recent CGI trailer through here.
