Well, it’s finally here. After a very long time of waiting, the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2‘s PC version finally came. The port will be coming out next month (or a tad later if you stick to Steam). It’s been something people have been waiting on for a good while, and now, thanks to an update by Rockstar, we know what kind of machine you’ll need to play it- and I hope you got some space, because it’s a big one.

The requirements themselves are actually pretty reasonable, with minimum settings at 8 GB of RAM with Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2 GB or AMD Radeon R9 280 3 GB and Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-6300. The recommended stats aren’t even that hefty, with 12 GB and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 4 GB with Intel Core i7-4770K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X. The main sticking point is the massive amount of space you’ll need on your HDD, clocking in at 150 GB. It’s even crazier to think it’s not even the biggest game size we’ve had revealed this week.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PC version set to launch November 5th.

Minimum Specifications:

• OS: Windows 7 – Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)
• Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
• Memory: 8GB
• Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
• HDD Space: 150GB
• Sound Card: DirectX compatible

Recommended Specifications:

• OS: Windows 10 – April 2018 Update (v1803)
• Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
• Memory: 12GB
• Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
• HDD Space: 150GB
• Sound Card: DirectX compatible
