Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on December 5th for Steam. The PC version of the critically and commercially acclaimed open world title has been available on the Epic Games Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Humble Store and other storefronts. Considering the number of issues the PC version has had, it will be interesting to see the reception on Steam.

Despite receiving praise for its visuals, the PC version had had a number of technical problems. Performance issues, crashes, issues with the Rockstar Launcher, the list goes on. Rockstar Games continues to release updates to fix issues – you can check out the most recent update notes here.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is also available for Xbox One and PS4. Significant praise has been heaped on the game’s writing, presentation, characterization and open world design (read our review here). Stay tuned for more updates on its Steam release in the coming week.
