Monolith Soft and Nintendo have already given us a look at the gorgeous environments of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. However, this latest batch of screenshots focus on the characters like Shulk and Fiora. Check them out below in all of their revamped glory.
The new screenshots really highlight the work that’s gone into the game’s visuals. Each character looks properly defined – and almost indistinguishable – from their art renders. Of course, the remaster’s improvements also extend to the gameplay but the development team has yet to highlight what we can expect. Look out for more information on this in the coming weeks.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is out on May 29th for Nintendo Switch. Features from the New Nintendo 3DS version aren’t included but it does have a prologue, “Future Connected”, which takes place one year after the base game’s events. Along with a remastered soundtrack, players can also opt for the original music if they so desire.
