Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint received a poor critical and commercial response at launch. However, the development team has been working hard to remedy its most egregious problems, introducing a new immersive experience to toggle off Gear Score and reinforce survival elements. However, one of the biggest updates – which has been promised since last year – is AI teammates.

While Ubisoft Paris had delayed the update several times, it promised a Summer release window for the same. Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, update 2.1.0 will release in mid-July. It was also confirmed that update 2.0.5, originally set for June, would release alongside update 2.1.0 next month.

There’s more than just AI teammates incoming. The two updates will also contain bug fixes, updates to the Gunsmith, PvP updates and other quality of life improvements. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can check out our initial review for Ghost Recon Breakpoint here.
