Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint had its fair share of issues at launch but perhaps none was more pronounced than the lack of AI teammates. This was actually announced with the game’s reveal but Ubisoft Paris was quick to backtrack on the same. Despite still being in development, there haven’t been updates about them until now.

In a new blog post, the development team confirmed that AI teammates would be coming this Summer. Given that the second live event is planned for the same period and Episode 3 is in the works along with a new class, it wouldn’t be strange to see all of these features added together. For now, we’ll have to wait and see.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint has received a fairly significant update with Immersive Mode, which allows players to disable Gear Score and up the realism to be more brutal. It also saw the release of Episode 2: Deep State with Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher returning to work with Nomad. The new story missions are available for Year 1 Pass holders but the first mission is free for all players.
