Destiny 2 - Devil's Ruin

Bungie’s latest update for Destiny 2 is currently live and addresses several issues, including a bug that caused the Falling Guillotine Legendary Sword to deal way more damage than intended. However, a nice little surprise with update 2.9.1 is the removal of weekly lockouts on raid rewards. If you’ve been seeking weapons like Anarchy from Scourge of the Past or Tarrabah from Crown of Sorrow, now’s a good time to get on the grind.

Till now, raids in Destiny doled out rewards once a week to players. The only way to earn multiple rewards in a week was by having multiple characters. With this change, Leviathan, Eater of Worlds, Spire of Stars, Crown of Sorrow and Scourge of the Past can be farmed continuously. Secret chests are still on a weekly lockout though so keep that in mind.

The reason for the change is pretty obvious – all of this content will be vaulted in September when Beyond Light releases. It won’t all be for naught – the Cosmodrome and Vault of Glass raid will be coming back in Year 4. Check out some of the patch notes for update 2.9.1 below and stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
