Genshin Impact

Free to play action RPG Genshin Impact will receive a significant amount of new content on November 11th with update 1.1. “A New Star Approaches” will add four new characters, the “Unreconciled Stars” seasonal event and much more. Check out the English trailer below courtesy of IGN.

The new characters in question are Tartaglia and Zhongli, who are both 5-stars, and Xinyan and Diona, both 4-stars. As for new quests, one can expect the core story to have three entire acts worth to conclude the Liyue chapters. Side quests for specific characters will also be added along with a new Reputation system that rates players for each city.

Having a strong reputation allows for increased customization options, exclusive rewards for that region and more. “Unreconciled Stars” lasts for two weeks and adds new quests and co-op challenges to overcome. Rewards for taking part include Fischl, a strong 4-star character. The update will also add new QoL items like the portable waypoint and stove, and a Wind Catcher that allows for generating wind currents whenever needed.

Along with all of this, miHoYo confirmed that Genshin Impact will be playable on PS5 with faster loading and improved visuals. Stay tuned for more details on update 1.1 when it officially launches.
