Hitman 3

Hitman 3 has been received with near-universal praise from critics and players alike, and that strong reception has been reflected in the game’s sales as well. And just as it was with its two predecessors, there’s plenty of content coming up for Hitman 3 as well. IO Interactive have released a new video talking about what new content players can expect to see in the game this month.

There’s multiple new Escalation contracts coming up, including two that are exclusive to owners of the game’s Deluxe Edition. Those two contracts will also bring with them new costumes, new weapons (including a katana), and new tools (including an emetic poison grenade). Meanwhile, a new Elusive Target is also being added. Coming to the Sapienza map from the first game, the Elusive Target mission will run from February 26 to March 8. Get more details in the video below.

If you’re waiting for meatier post-launch content, don’t worry- that’s in the works as well. IO Interactive have said that Hitman 3’s expansions won’t be adding any new maps, but will instead reimagine older locations from previous games. Read more on that through here.

Hitman 3 is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and Nintendo Switch. In our review, we called it ” the peak of the series, of IO Interactive, and of the social stealth genre.” You can read the full review through here.

Meanwhile, ray-tracing support for the game is also in the works for both PC and PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
